Quite happy today as the LP's i won on Ebay arrived, been after one for a while but ordering vinyl from the States is to expensive, the records are reasonable but the postage in the last few years has gone through the roof from the USA, you can buy a record for $15 but then are expected to pay more than $25 to have it posted, more if they use a customs duty carrier (even though anything under £15 sterling is not subject to customs charges at this end ) so when i saw this with another one on Ebay UK for just £8 with under £4 postage i jumped at it. the records both recorded by O. Winston Link are "Thunder on Blue Ridge" and "2nd Pigeon and the Mocking Bird" both sound great and are practically in mint condition, these bring my vinyl steam album collection up to 222 albums, love listening to them all when working on Trains sim related things. (all have been digitally recorded and transferred to the PC)

Well i had to make a change to the CNW set, when i took it into ORTS Mono Game Edition with Reshade the Yellow one was far to washed out, so i have darkened the textures, after all ORTS will be moving to Mono Game soon as its game engine so may as well future proof the yellow car, i also got down off the fence and finally made a decision on the green cars and made the shade a tad towards the bluish side as it matches a lot of the engines already in my trainset, so the revamped look is like this

Just finished the MP set, found one pic where the hopper was a nice shade of pale blue #705603 and one that had white wall tires #706917

    MP_Set.jpg

also found another 3 roads that had these and have gathered some pics for the Frisco, Southern and Southern Pacific, so have those 3 to do plus the only more modern ones with reflective tape the ACFX, i have been trying to backdate any pics i have been using as references to before reflective tape was used en masse and before they got incredibly rusty as some of these roads have, also just discovered thet the DTS also had the shorter body like the Chessie units, they still look good though.

Bernard, have you thought about doing any of the Winchester & Western sand hoppers on that shape?
