It's been well over a decade since the last time I did any editing in my s files. Now I can't seem to find a program to open s files, what are you guys using?

Shape File Manager, available here. I think v2.5 is the latest
Kevin,
Youll also need a path to FFEDIT in the MSTS tools folder and you have to give sfm.htm full administrator privileges.
Ran into this a couple days ago.

Hey Kevin, welcome back - it's Neil from the "Minds"...haven't seen you since hanging with you and Patrick, Meansy and Kevin Vahey in East Chicago quite a few years ago. And, Pine and other spots prior to that.
Hope you guys are doing well!
Neil
Here at home, in the railroad mayhem capital of the world.
Route Riter can also uncompress .s files. For some purposes it is better, but I usually use shape file manager (in the file library here).
Once uncompressed, you open the files in a text editor. I used "ConText" because it has a MSTS plug-in, but you can use anything that can handle unicode files including notepad.

Archibald will also open s files, and can do it without uncompressing them. It is part of the tk_utils set.
Beer is not a matter of life or death, it is much more serious than that.
Thanks Neil, send me a PM!!!!
