Love the shot - my Dad always critiques the area as he grew up just a couple blocks away. Beautiful work as always Rick!

    Updating the boxcars again.

Added real side handles and a real ladder for the sides thanks to an expert shape maker who helped me..........

    Also adding NAVS shapes.

I will put out an upgrade next week, will be a copy-paste-overwrite operation if you already dl'd them.

If your not converting your older rolling stock to NAVS, you are missing out.

Almost done with all the MONON's.

    Great job Erick.

Yes, that's for sure, Erick has developed a brilliant system for doing this in OR.

Yeah.... You need a lousy fireman and a hamfisted driver who overthrottles the loco! How you do that in Open rails? Whole different question

Seriously though... a correctly driven steam loco should NOT be belching out black smoke all the time. It may be forced by load and gradient to run at full throttle and that may produce a lot of black smoke but it shouldn't otherwise.

BTW what smoke effect are you using Rick?
