    Thanks OR Team and Chuck.

I finally got around to start making custom carspawners for the U.S. Highways and Interstate roads.

The new semi's fit right in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Lookin' great Rick !

I started playing with that Open Rails feature to for the Blue Comet modern redo. So far it is working great. Nice feature to have because on the route will be the Garden State Parkway which vehicles over 12,000 lbs. are banned north of Exit 105. And lines on the route like the NY&LB, Seashore Branch among others run close to it in spots. Would be wrong to see big rigs north of that.

Plus big rigs cruising the strip in Seaside Heights by the boardwalk lookin' for chicks looks kinda funny.

    Yeah

So far I made 6 specialty carspawners.

Got all the buses and trucks off the rural roads and put them on the US Highways and Interstate only.
Also have one each for Interstate in the city and Interstate in the rural areas.
Got all the taxis and city buses just in the city's now.

Modified the original carspawner to fit everywhere else.

Once you set them up, going into the world files goes pretty quick.

Already have Chicago to Lafayette done.

Might haft to look at doing people also, but just now trying the new consist editor which I like.
I have played with the new route editor, but is too much for now.

On one of my routes I used carspawner variants for:

    mine roads (monster dump trucks)
    Highway traffic
Rural road traffic (fewer trucks, usable for city streets, too)
Remote road traffic (primarily 4x4 and maybe logging trucks)
and maybe one other I can't think of off-hand

TSRE has a menu for selecting carspawner variants, so you don't even have to modify the .w files to set them up

thats a good one, some construction trucks or a race track

would like to do some tractors in the fields, but no shapes to use

no tractors have a person sitting on them and pulling something

I think someone used a custom carspawner to make a river flow, too, using big sheets of water
