Name of Route: Detroit-Toledo

Version and Release Date: v20190523, May 23, 2019 (most recent version as of the creation of this thread)

Description: This route includes the routes of the Canadian National and Norfolk Southern railroads between Detroit, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio.

53 miles of the CN Shoreline Subdivision are included from Lang Yard in Toledo north to Milwaukee Junction in Detroit. A large majority of this subdivision was the former mainline of the Detroit, Toledo & Shore Line Railroad, which was a joint venture between the Grand Trunk Western Railroad and the Nickle Plate Road. GTW later bought full control of the railroad and fully folded it into it's nameplate. CN now owns the subdivision following it's full folding of the GTW into the CN name.

All 55 miles of the CSAO/NS Detroit Line are included from CP West Detroit in Detroit south to CP 289 in Toledo. Southbound Track 1 was originally Lake Shore & Michigan Southern, Northbound Track 2 was originally Michigan Central. Both railroads were later merged into the New York Central, which was folded into the Penn Central, then Conrail. In 1999, the Detroit Line south of Gibraltar became part of NS, and north of Gibraltar the Detroit Line became part of Conrail Shared Assets' Detroit Area.

Also included are 13 miles of the CN Flat Rock Subdivision from South Yard in Ecorse, MI to Flat Rock Yard in Flat Rock, MI. This was originally the northern end of the Detroit, Toledo & Ironton Railroad, itself later bought by GTW. Parts of the ex-MC/NYC Michigan Line in Detroit and the ex-LS&MS/NYC Chicago Line in Toledo are included as well.

Other cities along the route are, all in Michigan: River Rouge, Wyandotte, Riverview, Trenton, Woodhaven, Rockwood and Monroe.

Installation Method: Single zip file, no need to run any installers or batch files.

Freight traffic is mostly manifest and autoracks, with two regular intermodal trains (20N between Chicago and Livernois Yard, 21N between Livernois Yard and Chicago).
