    Default New Keyboard problem

Does OR X3997 message mean anything? I'm having problems with a new Keyboard. (NOT a cheap one!) In the sim, Keys freeze and wont allow movement for a short time. I have the same problem when working in ROUTE EDITOR. Does this sound like a need for updates or is this a windows 7 diver problem?

    What message?

    Does the old keyboard work?

Is it a standard 104 key keyboard?
Does it use drivers other than windows?
    Cheers

    Hi Folks,

Being that you have similar symptoms - in two completely independent programs - I would suspect keyboard/driver issue first...

If you're running Win 7 the computer is probably pretty old, in computer years.
Sounds like you're trying to do too much with too few resources.
Try closing down running programs/services and see if the computer can keep up with keyboard input.

Not pretty old in computer years... I am running Win 7 myself, still works like a charm.. Not the resource issue if you are running 32GB in RAM...

Simple.. Go to Device Manager and find out if you have any yellow triangles on the Intel USB ports, thats where some problems lies... software needs to be updated... I have had that issue resolved..
