Update to my conundrum - turns out my Xbox gamepad was on the fritz, or so it seems. While running TSW last night I started getting all the menu icons morphing between the KBM inputs and those for the pad. Took it out and the mouse in ETS2 and ATS now stable, with TSW2 also okay. After a brief but disastrous attempt to drive a truck with the keyboard, loaded up Overclockers and ordered myself a new one.

RTA Peterbilt 359 for ETS2 1.40, had to have it.

I am using the shorter wheelbase for the EU roads.

Back up and running with the new joypad - very smooth. Just grabbed some of the Kriechbaum sound mods to clear out the awful default ones, too.

Actually started off in ETS2 but will look at ATS later.
Probably pick up the Iberia DLC later on too.
Reckon that old joypad must have seen more wear than I thought, the various truck sims plus GTA now and again.
Contemplating whether to get ProMods back on, depends how far away the next SCS update is - I do love those northern roads.

You won't want to hear this. but i deleted the flaming lot this morning.

Both profiles in ETS2 i have (one GU and one PM's 2.55) kept crashing on me.

Tried all sorts, removing mods using different trucks etc. To no avail, so bang bang bang gone and ATS was an innocent victim of my displeasure.
