Well I didn't put the EU livery on it...

Gave it a coat of green paint and raised the driver's eye up per the F4 panel and now siting proud above the road. I still think I will downgrade to a shorter chassis, though.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, touche Vern.

Nice one buddy, the hood takes some getting used to on our roads.

Plus shorter chassis length is probably more sensible as well.

I am really looking forward to the new map DLC's for both ATS and ETS2.

SCS are head and shoulders above any of the train game creators.

I just had to install this monstrosity, Renault Integral.

But looking up info on it, the model seems to be a Magnum.

Just picked up a job at DHL for Poland.

This Renault is a nightmare without a trailer.

Brake to hard and it's all over the road.

Must admit a lot of the tractor units are like that. I rather regrettably handed over the Peterbilt to one of my AI drivers as even with the shorter wheelbase it was a right beggar to get round corners. For now, trying a vanilla Merc which handles much better though hardly any engine noise. Got another job up to Iceland so once that completes I'll scour the links and Workshop for something better.

Have you had a look on the SCS forum, Vern, some nice tractor units and trailer reskins, etc, for both ETS2 and ATS, you can download them directly though you have to be careful of these download website hosts, lots of silly adware etc, but, some great models about.
I've just obtained the SISU tractor unit for my garage in Finland, it's just the job for that country.

This Renault is worse than any others i have driven Vern. It's ok with a semi trailer though. Not really practical the US trucks in ETS2 buddy, i just sold all mine and replaced them with classic ETS2 trucks. Some nice older ones available, but most are left hand drive. You might be able to get a sound mod for the Merc, Vern. Try the Steam Workshop, or this might be some good https://ets2.lt/en/ets2-engine-xsound-n009/

I always choose the Sharemods link for downloading, when there is more than one choice.

You are obsessed with the frozen north, buddy.
