I'd forgotten we were working on an early CSX set

I do like those Clinchfield F's though. I'm MORE excited about the RF&P because I have a partially finished 1950 Crescent that needs a route. I can take it from NYP to WUPT, but from there to Atlanta, Montgomery and New Orleans I don't have a lot of routes to choose from.

    Routes for a Crescent Limited:
    - PRR (at Union Station)
    - RF&P
    - Piedmont
    - Birmingham

Most of these routes are more modern day, but don't let that be an issue.

    Thanks, Christopher

What geography does the Piedmont route cover?

Piedmont route is Charlotte-Greensboro and maybe Raleigh. Or some subset of that area (been a bit since I opened it).

The Piedmont route indeed does cover Charlotte-Greensboro-Raleigh.

Another route which should be included in your list is the Atlanta-Macon route. It hasn’t received as much upgrade attention as Birmingham, but it’s still a great route and covers the Atlanta part of the Crescent’s route.

On the other hand, the Piedmont Route is my home route. Actually covers what is the Atlantic and North Carolina from Charlotte to Raleigh and goes on to Morehead City as an NS branch line. NS leases the line from the state of NC and is the primary operator of it.
