I have a question about the SD-39 units for the ATSF DTI and GR. I want to use the SLI 22K sounds but what ones should I actually use, are these units roots or turbo?

SD39s had V12 645s with a turbocharger, so turbo sounds are what you need. GP/SD38s were the only 645-equipped engines not to get turbos
GP15-1s, any SW1000 and up plus all MP switchers have non turbo 645s. Theres likely others I didnt mention off the top of my head

BNSF actually sent a SD39 #1914 to LTEX's Bone Yard in Ohio where she's gonna get scrapped. It was built as ATSF SD39 #4006. There's a SD38P here in the F/L (BNSF #1563) that was built as an SD38-2 as SLSF #298. BNSF #1563 gets work done at Northtown.
I dunno if this pertains to your subject, but at least I learned a little bit of history on them and figured most of them get turbocharged EMD645 prime movers.
