Question Editing Headlight Brightness for OR Locomotives

Hey fellow train-simmers, I'm having a huge issue with editing some of the OR lcoomotives' ENG files so that they'd have brighter headlights. Don't they offer a special program that applies headlight parameters to any set of locomotives?

    Hi...

There is no actual light parameter for brightness - you could simulate a brighter light by making the sphere bigger...

Might want to take a gander at this:

Its the Radius line you want to change for the headlight sphere and headlight.
You could also change the light color to a whiter light color.

You will see them in the link Scott gave you below.

I wonder if the same principle that is applied to signals could be applied to headlights through the same procedure. Add an experimental button on the OR options for Headlight lightglow. This would allow the headlight to be seen at greater distances and change as the train approaches.

I was able to go to each locomotive's ENG file and change the color of the headlights so they appear brighter when lit to the fullest extent. I tried this on a variety of locomotives and found this to be useful! Thank you for the encouragement though
