    Default Updated GP35 Project

Many Might remember me planning a upgrade to the older SLI products. I have been working quietly on that. But I have also been working on some older GP 35 with foot boards. The problem was getting a decent black color to work that was not
over powering or to greyish in nature. Today I was able to make the base for the PC GP35 set.

These locomotive come with a FA by Parker Boots which adds the following.

uncoupler bars, foot boards, rear hand rails, rear roof sand cap, rear air-hoses, hand rail around rear roof fan, new roof fans
    and new horn.

the PC set with have 2 white logo, 2 red and white logo, 2 orange and white logo.

Incredible ! I remember watching alot of the PC's GP35s in all the different logo color schemes on the old West Shore Line. Brings back great memories for me.

    Nice one!
The thing that bothers me a bit with the older SLI products, are the not-so-round wheels. Is that something that can be adressed?

I have seen people do rebuilds of the wheel assemblies on the older SLI units I have a rebuilt F45 that was totally gutted and redone with new wheels from what I have seen of the FA it looks like it is a pretty long project to do. someone posted in the picture section some EJ&E sd units and they look like they have had the wheels replaced as well.

Maybe with the new routes in work from SLI we will get a new GP35.
