    Can you say Dodge Challengers?!

That's exactly what they are...Ted Curphy's 1970 Dodge Challengers added via a freight animation..The autoracks came loaded and empty, along with loading ramps. I believe Frisco was the only road to have such cars.

Thanks to those of that shared kind words concerning my past efforts.

We did have a lot of fun. Those were indeed exciting times: V scale as a hobby was in its infancy.

Today's route builders are building some extremely nice looking routes. Whereas in the "glory days" my efforts were pushing the standards upwards, that is no longer the case. Except for my above average skills at track work, my scenic skills within MSTS/OR have fallen well behind the curve. To get up to speed in the scenic realm would require a formidable amount of learning as well as (likely) learning/acquiring new software programs/etc. I have several interests to divide my time among, and V scale is now just a very small part of it. Also, with the advent of the OR "Timetable" feature, that would require much more learning in order to accomplish the things I would want to accomplish in that aspect of V scale.

I was on a V scale roll immediately after I retired from RR-ing in April of '18. I actually finished a proto-lanced route to the "beta" state, and shared it with any interested via my "Route Ramblin's" thread over at Elvas Tower. I then went to work on my 1869 era "New England Lines" route project and finished up the track work in Bellows Falls, laid the Rutland & Burlington rails from Bellows Falls to Rutland, then after that laid track for a completely new North Arkansas route from Seligman, MO to Leslie, AR with the intention of eventually completing the line on up to Joplin, MO, and down to Heber Springs, AR. Two complete divisions. In the process I've released textures/etc, as freebies to any interested.

IF you're not a part of Elvas Tower, and if you have a the least interest in any of the above, behooves you to sign up at ET and browse my LONG thread running there called "Route Ramblin's". Lots of free stuff has been made available as well as a LOT of V scale (and other interests) BS, too boot!

Here's a link to the last pages of my "Route Ramblin's" thread.

    http://www.elvastower.com/forums/ind.../page__st__900

Via the above link, you can look it over, and if you decide to do some reading, you can choose to start at the first page, or work backwards.

There are a LOT of route projects covered therein, a LOT. IF enough were interested, I reckon' I could make some of my project routes available as betas. I recently gave away copies of my incomplete Rock Island 2 route. (Diesels, circa early 1970s, rails from Caldwell, KS down well south of Enid, OK to Hennessey, OK. Terrain in place to El Reno, OK. Enid's grain complexes were being completed when I moth-balled the project, also gave away the Colorado & San Juan proto-lanced in beta form, complete with "Phase 1" scenery. A pic of of a train leaving Ouray, CO headed south:

SO... I still piddle with V scale some... but it's been a spell. However the fever could come back?

I upload my files as I see fit. As far a you being a critique of one of my screenies, that's not your place! Post some of your own, then you can be an art critic! I'm too busy these days with being on the road with BNSF to be doing much with either MSTS or OPEN RAILS. My posts are few and far between.

I really wish people would be thankful For frank uploading anything at all here. Seems some people can't even be thankful Frank. Just goes to show some have not learned a thing here and then they wonder why content is drying up.

I wish people would just stop and think before replying to certain things. I run railroads long gone with modern equipment cause it's MY railroad in a game.
