Thread: Speed Sign Expand Bug

    Default Speed Sign Expand Bug

Noticed this while replacing some speeds along the Northeast Corridor.

Some speeds read ask kmph even when they are set to mph (miles in drop box) for both tracks. Here is a 75mph expanded to 2 tracks on 2 track it is read as 75 but on 1 track it is read as 47mph. Re-adding track doesn't fix this.

    One Solution:
Instead of (clicking expand) expanding the same speed sign over 2 tracks, you just use individual speed signs for each track, takes more time, but it fixes the bug.

Yeah, it's been like that for some time. I'm pretty sure Goku's aware of it but it has yet to be fixed

Indeed there is a problem. But there is simple solution.
Just recheck "miles" twice to apply change for all speedpost track items.
I always first expand the object and then customize it's properties. That's why I didn't see this bug.

Much easier than placing individual track speeds. Thanks for the heads up.
