Route - Mexico City - Querétaro - Guanajuato

New project for 2020 - Route Mexico City to Querétaro following the double electrified line (Juarez & Morelos) then at Querétaro continuing line A to Irapuato and Silao creating there the line AE to Guanajuato (extinguished)...

From 1987 to 1994 the start service train named "El Constitucionalista" usted to depart from Mexico City (7:00hrs) as train #9 with a consist of 8 to 10 coaches (first class, dinner, bar and dome). At Querétaro the train was splited in two sections one running to Guanajuato and the second running to San Miguel de Allende... Going back to Mexico City the trains used to be joined again at Querétaro to arrive 21:00hrs at the station of Buenavista in Mexico City...

Only good memories of these times remains since our great past presidents sold all the national railroads to private companies as Ferrosur, Ferromex, and TFM (bought by Kansas City)... Not longer passenger service exists except Chepe (Chihuahua Pacífico) and Tequila train (Guadalajara to Tequila)...

Route length: 383kms from Mexico City to Silao and 40kms to Guanajuato City (264miles)

If it's anything like Veracruz I look very forward to your progress on this, and cant wait to run it!

I will be using algo Google maps textures for terrain but this route has more towns, urban areas, industry and few parts with track going straight.... So I assume it will be more complicated...

Around of 200kms are high speed double and electrified track (Mexico City to Querétaro)

Dedicating some time to place the track for the new route from Mexico City to Querétaro (double electrified track)...then to Irapuato...

Progress:
Track completed until kilometer 60 of 358

Working some hours in the new route MEX5 Mexico (km 0) to Querétaro (km 244) to Irapuato (km 358)

Now track from km 0 to km 120 is placed and the viaduct at Tula is already installed... (Double viaduct split by a short tunel in the electrified track)

I will keep working on MEX5
