    Default Well I just learned something new.....

    And this is to NEVER fiddle around with MSTS routes in TSRE5!

    All i did was add a single static object to FBLv3 and now whenever my engine's hit a certain track piece, they glitch out then just shot off down the line out of sight in the blink of an eye.

    Do you have a backup? TSRE doesn't like some routes' tsection files (the route tsection, not the global - they're very different), partiularly older routes. I ran into this when upgrading some scenery objects on the Hisatsu Line (still one of my favorites). There is a utility that can prevent this from happening (Horace, I think), but I've never used it.

    Note that the above only applies to the tsection errors. The crossover and TCsection errors were probably there already

    I've still got the original download, so i think i'm good and as luck would have it, I've actually have Horace installed.
    I just don't know how to use it... ^^;

    As I recall Horace has a intuitive interface that should not give you a problem. I ran it without a problem on the necv4.

    FYI, the problem you caused with TSRE is identical to the problem caused using the MSTS RE with an incorrect Global\TSection.dat file so it is not a TSRE issue at all.

    TSRE can be setup to not modify the TDB.
    In settings.txt writeTDB = false
    Having this setting will enable you to mod the scenery as much as you like without touching the TDB's.

    Happy New Year.

    On the The Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor there is a Tablet. On it is written:
    "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
    the wretched refuse of your teeming shore, send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
    I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

    Thanks Vince, that's another great "tip-of-the-day" fun fact
