    Default Omya Leased Boxcars

Not my best photos I have ever taken, but we lack boxcars for Omya powered/bagged limestone so much, that these are the only ones currently made in the community. Of course, I do believe the only Omya plant to ship bagged limestone is the one in Florence, Vermont.

Shawn, they look great to me! Always love your stuff, and would love to continue to have my "Shawn" folder grow with new cool freight cars

Great skins Shawn ....but sadly Graffiti is yet another reason I prefer older era's. Of course it's a reality seen worldwide nowadays (funny how stupidity travels like lightning whilst good ideas take decades to spread?) but ever since some twit in NY published that Coffee Table book in the 70's proclaiming it "Street Art" it's cost the public hundreds of thousands of £/$ to repair this vandalism.

Thanks guys. Being these are Omya leased cars, they have their phases where they sit in storage for 3-4 months, that is where the graffiti tends to happen. Omya cars tend to get hit the hardest, whether it's these boxcars, the covered hoppers, or the tank cars. It's unfortunate, but does indeed happen.

    Shawn,
Great job on the box cars , I really like them, and having the graffiti on them to me makes the cars stand out , I know that there are some that would rather not have them done like that , but sooner or later they all get tagged.
    Keep up the great work.

Great looking cars Shawn. So glad to see you're back at it. Especially nice to see the GACX car, as I know that's been on the drawing board for awhile. Thanks for your work on these!

Thanks guys! Eventually I would like to release these to the public, with a few other items that I have finished, but never released. Currently going through my back log of work, seeing what is done, or near completion.
