    The suffix 'n/m' in the coupler section needs to be changed to 'n/m/s' in the damping parameter.

    Coupling (
    Type ( Automatic )
    Spring (
    Stiffness ( 1e6N/m 5e6N/m )
    Damping ( 1.2e6N/m/s 1.2e6N/m/s ) <-- just this, Stiffness is ok
    Break ( 1.7e7N 1.7e7N )
    r0 ( 20cm 30cm )

    thanks - what file do i find this in - an eng file? and for which loco? also will this still be okay with MSTS too if i change this?

    All locos have this type of coupler config. It is in all MSTS eng files. No problems caused when fixing this error.

    oka but i dont see what i need to change - the damping line looks like this -one example is Damping ( 1e6N/m/s 1e6N/m/s ) - the n/m/s is there so far as i can see

    looking at the eng file for one of the units mentioned in the following warnings -
