Jerry, the system is set up with individual parts such that you can make almost any configuration needed. The signals in the images below are each made up of several parts. I have installed several quad-gate crossings in routes of mine, along with cross-street flasher-equipped crossings

    Travis,

You reused the file name for tem_wigwag_1.ace.

    But I love the signals.
I'm happy to see stuff for those of us that are more "Mixed Train Daily" than "Big Wheels Rollin'".
    Thanks.

Is the shape in the image from that set of wigwags and such I made years ago? If so, those shapes are so out of scale that you'd probably want to replace them anyway (I had no dimensional data back then and just eyeballed everything in that set). The new set should be accurate to within an inch or so from the real deal

Finally had the time to install some of these along the route.

    They are lovely.
Open rails coughs up a missing texture for TEM_Crossbucks_1.ace and I don't believe it's in the download.
Also, has anybody had success getting the wigwags to wigwag? It just moves to the side and stops.

Thanks again for the signals, these and the semaphores.

TEM_Crossbucks_1 should be in the first set I made. How it didn't find its way into the second...don't know

As for the wigwags, put a negative number in the animation time field, something like -0.0333

I'm working on a set of passive crossing signs right now. The set is mostly done, and has a few types of US crossbucks, both modern and older, along with three Canadian variants (modern and two older), and a couple from Mexico. A sneak peek is below. I'm wondering if anyone has something I'm not thinking of that should be included.

I am in the process of updating the shapes a bit - mostly smoothing to make round things actually appear round, and making .dds versions of everything. The shapes will be drop-in replacements, so no reconstruction will be necessary. Gates still remain to be done, as well as flashers, but this brings up one question:

There are small white lights on most lamp units that point down the track, as a visual indication that the signal is working. The housing for that light will be included in the new flasher shapes, but should I bother making the light work? Technically it's child's play to do that, but it'll add two or four draw calls to every flasher shape for a rather small white light that most people probably won't notice anyway. So...here we areUntitled.jpg

Honestly I do like the effect they create, the recent TrainSimulations routes have them and they look nice. I feel like crossing signals are rare enough that the extra draw calls wouldn't be critical.

    I agree. Why not?
Anything that adds to the world around us is welcome.
It's not just about the trains. Is it?
