Default New York Westchester & Boston

So about a month ago, I started work on the old Westchester which has proven a little difficult while chasing down old info and pics from google. With the info I have I'm modeling between 1931 to 37 when service ends. Here's a video of what I have So far from Harlem Terminal to Dyre Ave. Thanks.

    Hi Cory,

I'm glad that someone is finally creating this route. I've been asking around for a long time for someone to do it. In the late 60's early and early 70's I took that line daily from Baychester Ave. south into Manhattan. Also I followed quite a bit of the right of way. Most of the old right of way was not only abandon, but sold and built over.

About 6 minutes into the video you have a great reproduction of the E180th st station. I curious if you are going make those pressed metal cars with their distinctive arched windows or you just sticking to the route. I think the only rolling stock available is their MOW engine 701.

    Keep up the good work.

Thank you sir and I do hope to model these cars along with some early New Haven equipment. I do have an EP-1 in the works.

Wow! there's a lot of research going into this route. As I continue to dig through Google for more info, I went back and rebuilt the Harlem River Terminal/ Willis Ave Tracks.

Cory, it's very nice to see you using the old Island Electric content. They were done 15 or 16 years ago. Best wishes with the route!

No updates available as of yet but I just wanted to do a comparison between the original photo and my rendering.
