A 12:44 am video from the Fostoria OH railcam showing eastbound CSX Q-138 about 15 minutes before it derailed due to a locked axle on the third locomotive. Those sliding wheels sure make the ribbon rail chatter well in advance of the train. At 4:42 am, close to 4 hrs post-derailment, a track inspector is seen retracing Q-138's route looking for damage at switches, diamonds, bridges, and road crossings. Shortly after 1 pm, the rear end of the train (minus the first 25 well platforms that were derailed) is seen heading westbound back to North Baltimore OH behind rescue power. At North Baltimore, the train will detour down the ex-Conrail T&OC to Ridgeway OH where it will turn east on the ex-Conrail Indy line to Greenwich OH where it will regain the B&O. The train is all filleted stacks due to tunnel restrictions in Maryland.

Other video taken around the derailment scene. The train ran the south track of the B&O from Fostoria to Tiffin Oh where it derailed while making a crossover move to the north track. The curving track with the sand hoppers is a remnant of the old PRR line to Toledo and Detroit which broke away from the PRR Fort Wayne main at Toledo Jct (just west of Mansfield), and is now owned by a shortline.
