Looking good! One bit of info on the dome cars, IC painted out the end windows on the domes at some point, supposedly to reduce the load on the air conditioning in the southern climates. I'm still trying to dig up a rough date when they started painting them...

The cars in those photos are the leased NP domes for the City of Miami, not the CoNO domes. I haven't seen any photos of the CoNO domes with that paint. Quite frankly, if someone wants to do that on their own, they can modify the textures for their own use. I think it's really ugly and ruins the whole idea of having a dome car!![]()

You're right, I hadn't finished my coffee before I put up those links. I think I have a slide or two of the MP cars with painted out windows, I'll do some digging tonight...

Decided to hang around at the train station in Louisville. Always something going on. In this case, some IC SW7s switching head end equipment. Screen shots taken on Rick Berg's legendary Monon2 route.
That's it! I may have missed showing a couple of locomotives or passenger cars, but you get the idea. Coming soon!!

Gotta say I'm really enjoying this set, and I'm not an ICRR fan.
The added detail on the E units is amazing, and I'm probably going to have to spend the next week re-playing with some of my re-skins to match the new shapefiles.
A few will probably make it into an Iowa Pacific livery as well, since it's only a matter of swapping out the lettering on the 1958 logo.
Cool. Most of the added detail is on the ‘B’ unit textures ( where I could find room ). Let me know if you want help finding what maps where.

I probably rode in, and sat trackside watching every one of those cars and engines![]()
