Question The numbers are a little big in locomotive cabs for Open Rails

I have some of the Dieselswest locomotive, Dash 9 #4723 with the numbers show a little big than normal in cab console. What should I do to correct the number?

Your help would be appreciated to ge the numbers show in normal size not big size on cab console.

    Thank you,

    John

    Hello!

You can set the Font type and Font size of any digital indicator in the cabview by adding this line: ORTSFont ( 5 0 "Courier New" ) at the end of appropriate section in the cab's .cvf file. Take a look at this example:

    Digital (
    Type ( BRAKE_PIPE DIGITAL )
    Position ( 393 271 26 17 )
    ScaleRange ( 0 120 )
    Accuracy ( 0 )
    AccuracySwitch ( 0 )
    LeadingZeros ( 0 )
    Justification ( 1 )
    PositiveColour ( 1
    ControlColour ( 182 201 173 )
    )
    NegativeColour ( 0 )
    DecreaseColour ( 0 )
    Units ( PSI )
    ORTSFont ( 5 0 "Courier New" )

The first digit inside the brackets (5 in this example) determines the size of the digits. Adjust it until you find the size appropriate for this cab.

This thread at ET >>> http://www.elvastower.com/forums/ind...age__hl__fonts

...and this section in the manual >>> 14.1.6 Configurable Fonts

Basically it is adding this line after any "digital entry" in the cvf file >> ORTSFont ( 12 1 "Sans Serif" )

You can download and install digital fonts, or use any font you like.

( edit: Just repeated what Borislav posted --- maker of fine cabviews! )
