    Default F5 HUD Colour

Just wondered if there is any way to change the colour of the HUD from something that shows up a bit better against a dull grey cloudy sky? I've checked the manual and done some Google Fu but can't see means of doing so.

Query applies to both standard OR and MG.

coded. You could download the source, find the code segment, change and then compile the game, but the change would only apply to that version. An update would revert to the coded default.

Ah, okay. Hopefully something that can be changed in a future version. A whitish grey text on a cloudy or even full blue sky doesn't really work that well!

    Hi...

With the latest Monogame - hit [Ctrl F5] and it brings up a completely new HUD designed in a very similar look to the F4 HUD... They match and make it very easy to read... This is just for the normal driving F5 HUD not all the additional debug screens... Give it a try - vastly superior in my opinion...

Excellent Scott, I'll try that on my next drive.

    Hi Vern,

    Happy to help...

Oh - FYI - just click on the yellow square with the dot in the middle to toggle between the "full text" or the "abbreviated" HUD.

    Scott

That is awesome! Do you know where I can download the latest Momo-OTRS?

    Hi...

Carlo’s latest Monogame is always available here - the link in the first post is always updated:

The caveat - you have to download and copy the files manually - just overwrite the files in your ORTS directory - - don’t use the automatic update feature with this version...

Thanks, that HUD feature will come in handy when it comes to steam operation!
