    Default Tile Boundaries

I'm having this issue when using the paint feature in TSRE where regardless of tile lines being on or off, I get this very noticeable tile line...What's the fix? I couldn't find an answer in the online documents.

    Regards,

    -Frank C.

Try different textures. This looks like a size issue. A two pixel undersize can do that.

The texture I'm using is a 1024x1024 texture hand painted onto the tile...The other textures, based at 512x512, do the same thing.

Anyone else have any ideas? In some areas the texture change when painting makes it SUPER noticeable while running along the route...

There is a problem with tgatool or aceit. One of these programs copies the right pixel row to the left side when compressing - or vice versa. I had the same problem with these lines a few years ago - and in some routes you can also find these broken tertex.
For me it has nothing to do with the TSRE5.
I had to recreate all textures and make sure that they were compressed only once.

Jan, Even while using the "COLOR/TEXTURE paint" tool in TSRE the textures do that? That's how I'm experiencing this issue.

The problem occurs as soon as you compress the .ace file DXT1. The right pixel column is moved to the left side. With each further processing this column is increased by one row.

If your textures are not edited as DXT1, this does not apply to you. Check your textures, then you can determine that.

    Original from TSRE5

    After DXT1

    one more processing

the right side of the texture

It is definitely not a DXT ace file.
