I'm going to have to add my two cents into this. Great editing on a great route. I wish NS would take it out of mothballs or somebody would buy it and make it a tourist railroad. The route's only about 40 miles from my mother's home in NC, and we have been to Saluda, Spartanburg, Hendersonville, and Asheville along this route many times.

The pictures look just like Saluda, NC in real life. Awesome modeling.

I believe I was at the crossing for Christmas this past year. We went all over Hendersonville, but ate at a Chic-fil-La near that crossing(?)

    Default Two trains on Saluda

SD35 3002 leads the third cut of it's train upgrade at Melrose. GP30 2570 heads into Flatrock. Both trains are westbounds.

    Default Crawling up Saluda grade

Even with an empty coal train this one struggles to make the summit in the small town of Saluda.
