How to make cellular phone towers light up

I recently placed some new cell phone towers from the F/L on my SCXY route - how can they be animated with red lights at night? Is there a specific coding I must do to light them up during the night?

You would need one of two things if they don't have animated lights already: either the source code, or a secondary red light shape. I recall the late Dieter Penzel having made animated lights. I think they're available at thetrain.de (site is in German)

If the tower shape does have animated lights, you just have to select the Animated object feature somewhere on the left side of the screen in TSRE

While you'd have to tweak the position and what not, try radiotowerlights.zip in the file library here. Although most CELL TOWERS aren't high enough to warrant lights on them, unless they're super close to an airport runway.
