Just messing with the FA and textures. SP replaced a big chunk of the hood on the SD40M-2 version I'm modeling.

I wish more people would understand with the "flintstone wheels" as Pete does. It's frustrating you do so much work to put into a paint project, for certain individuals to snub their nose at it, and not use it, just because of the wheels. It's personally why I haven't done much recently for releases.

I'd like to get the Cascades Crossing Locomotive Upgrade pack tied up before Sean releases his Shasta Route.

Began rebuilding the long hood, got some parts from 7400 and the GP39-2 to replace the handrails and add more rear details.

I really want this locomotive since sp stuff is rare. A really up to date Dash9 and C40 and B40 units would be nice too!

Michelle, SP never rostered any C40-8s or -8Ws, so there may not be much coming in that direction. However, I do have some AC44s in production on the SLI Green River shape.

SP had the following Dash 8 and Dash 9 locomotives.

C44-9W - Done by yours truely.
AC4400CW - Done by Brody.
B39-8s

And SSW (Cotton Belt) owned B40-8s.

Wow, that looks really nice Brody. I would love a really nice AC44 SP unit. And thank you for the Info on the Cotton Belt, I knew I saw one painted in sp colors but the name was so faded.

No problem Parker. I like the SP just as much as the ATSF, MEC and D&H. Though to be fair, I liked the failed SPSF era the best.
