Question Shortcut link -- Access is Denied

I know everyone will say that why do I want to run this program of MSTS. No, I am not but would like to get some changes in MSTS Properties. That's all I need to change like to add after the word with train.exe -mem:1024" But got the error message and look below:

    Shortcut

/!\ Unable to save changes to 'Train Simulator.lnk'.

    Access is denied.

I would like to correct this to allow the access not like above. Any idea how to correct this. Oh this program of Microsoft Train Simulator is not in the main drive and is on J drive with the main folder 1MSTS. My operating system is Microsoft Windows 10 Professional 64-bit version.

    Thank you,

    John

Your problem has NOTHING to do with MSTS it is a Windows security issue. Copy your title of this thread and past it to a Google search bar and you will get numerous URLs to help even some YouTube videos.

    Charles,

Thank you for the information and I am not going to bother with this because there are so many information online about this. I don't know which part to look for so I will leave this out.

So you want us to give you fish rather than learn how to fish?

It's fixed by the help of another forum not trainsim.

    Thank you,

    Hi John,
It may have nothing to do with your problem, but the double-quotes MUST be after .exe and NOT after 1024 !!

    Cheers,
    Ged
