Sticking with the flight sim over Dopey Twonk Games, sounds like a sensible option to me Vern.

Yep. Bound to be some issues and have to be careful not to be seduced by all the videos circulating taken on high end hardware. However from what I've seen it looks like Asobo and MS are approaching this with a bit of professionalism not like DTG.

Mountains of professionalism in comparison, Vern.

Mike, that error is cause by my browser (Firefox) security. It won't allow my PC to access a site which does not have a recognisable security certificate.

I use Firefox Bruce with 12 addons for blocking different nasties and insecure sites.

But UKTS is fine, although they did have a problem with their security last month.

But it is all hunky dory now..................................

    SSL Security
Sunday 19 July 2020 By NeutronIC [Matthew Peddlesden]

    Abstract:
If your browser is declaring the site insecure don't worry... read on for detail...

More and more browsers are de-supporting the older SSL/TLS protocols that this site currently uses and therefore declaring them as insecure.

I was aware this was coming but I haven't had time to rectify it yet.

First up, don't panic, your personal information is no less secure than it was yesterday. We don't store your bank information (in fact it never even comes anywhere near this machine). When you make payments via WorldPay you are doing so via their servers which are all on the latest security so you have peace of mind there.

Second - I'm strapped for time to rectify this at the moment, once my workload at my day-job goes back down to something normal my plan is to get a few days off work to do maintenance on the server, which will include upgrading all this old software.

There is a plan. Hang tight, and don't panic

Did Dovetail fix any of the simulation aspect, or are they still focused solely on eye candy?
