I would really have to see screenshots and a short video before I decide whether or not to make the investment.

I have taken some screenies of the introductory info screens and have also recorded two videos....one in daylight and the other late at night.
I'll process these today and upload to YT and provide links here once done.
The info screens are provided below...........note the last one, which popped up when I chose that scenario.
I tried again, as suggested, and the other train had left that location.

NOTE!!
When I posted this (1:50PM DST Eastern Australia) the High Definition format (1440) of the vid was still being processed.
Make sure that you choose the HD version for full-quality.
I will do the night-time version later today.

Interesting video thanks. It will be interesting to see how much scenery detail they add as time goes by. I'll definitely keep an eye on this but for now Open Rails and MSTS with Rail Driver does for me.

Here is the YT link to the Cajon video done in the evening darkness.
Remember to watch it in HD (1080 on this one...I forgot to process it at 1440).
Cheers!

THanks for the time Bruce but Oh Dear.....
Hmmm... No stars, no moon, no moonlight? Surely the smog isn't THAT bad in the middle of California's deserts?
I have to say (and this is purely MY taste) that driving desert routes is about as interesting as watching paint dry and driving them at night like watching paint dry by torch light?!BTW I love desolate places to visit for real but they just aren't simulated very well.
It might be a reality that much Rail traffic move during hours of darkness but until Sims can simulate night time environments better why would anyone want to do that?
OK just me then.... LOL!

Well charmed i'm sure Bruce. I stopped watching after you accused me of possibly stealing your login.
