I really wish I had a way to manually replicate that buckled panel effect since the IMAGE is so badly out of focus from the original photographer. In that case, I would just create a 'fresh paint' skin manually.

Pete, I haven't forgotten. I've been looking forward to this one and to reskinning it. I always appreciate what you do.
Do you want me to take a look at the texture? It looks salvable to me. Needs font lettering to compensate for the blurry. Maybe a need set of doors donated from some other car and recolored to match?

I would do the same thing I can even reskin the model as well. Have some good closeup photos of logos and details.. All I can do is just color it up and apply some logos on them.. Honestly Pete, nice job on them!

Hi Pete,
Blender can do that with baking - I think - just watched a video - go to 4:50.

Hi Pete,
Just to clarify - I know ORTS doesn't support bump maps - however - if you distort a copy of the mesh as shown in the video - then take a screenshot of the distorted side - then apply that screenshot as the base texture to your model - it seems as if it could replicate the buckled panels effectively.

Scott
Thanks!... This is why forums still work!
