Default Strange message on exiting Open Rails...

This message displays when exiting Open Rails-it doesn't affect the game, but I'm wondering what it might mean:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance
    of an object.

    any ideas?

A programming error, nothing more. If it happens on exit, it is nothing to be concerned about.

Which version of Open Rails are you running?

I get this or similar messages appearing now and then.

See here for my question regarding this error.

    Running OR 1.3.1 presumably?

Apparently this message is not of (real) concern to users. The program still seems to otherwise run OK most of the time.

Yes, both of you experienced the same bug. It has already been fixed in the testing branch.

Also, I've noticed that if you exit OR using ALT+F4 this error does not appear.
