I've been trying my best to create the characteristic sound of the loco below when the throttle is backed off (around 20 sec to 40 sec). MSTS doesnt seem too good at simulating this.

Using variable2 or variable1 with a release loop with jump gives poor results, not to mention programming the subsequent sound to take over. Any suggestions or hints?

I am almost tempted to put it as a playoneshot file while throttling up, followed by a steady loop. But that would be unrealistic as it would play every time engaged.
