    I was never a fan of the Razorback Thunderbolt, preferring the appearance of the later "bubble" canopy version.

    Me too Bruce, looks sleaker. But apparantly from what i have read the Razorback configuration.

    Was more aerodynamic, lighter and thus faster. I don't have a clue as i have always only really been interested in WW1 & WW2 land warfare.

    Thanks Bruce, does not look as good as MFS2020, but the game engine is a lot older.

    I remember as a kid assembling an Airfix kit of the Tempest. That big cowling always fascinated me.

    Did you ever play Rowan Software's Overlord? Mustangs, Spitfires and Typhoons flying over the channel to soften up Fortress Europe.

    No Steve only became interested in flightsims with IL-2 Cliffs Of Dover.

    Then just after i also bought IL-2 1946
