Default What is involved to change signals to function with open rails signal light glow?

I have some route packages that came from TrainSimulations that I enjoy highly except for having to constantly check if the signal light glow is enabled or disabled. the routes are the ATSF Seligman route, DRGW Green River, and the BNSF Scenic sub 2.0. Would this be as simple as changing the radius setting in the signal Configuration or is it more involved than that?

It depends on the route. If these are the Trainsimulatiions/ SLI routes, the signals already have the lightglow effect that was designed for MSTS. Activating the OR option will give a huge and unrealistic. glow effect. These were designed to have a similar effect without the OR enhancement. One option is unchecking that option. Another is to replace the signal light texture sigLight.ace in the textures folder of the route with one from another route where the effect works properly. Then you need to adjust the radius of the of the signal lights in the sigfig.dat file for all of the signals. Be sure to make backups of both files before making changes.

Thanks for the reply Basil. That did the trick for the Scenic Sub. Still need to change over the ATSF Seligman and the Green River routes
