Bug in MSTS_ActMan

Hi All,
Apologies, but I've been made aware of a bug in v3.5 of MSTS_ActMan.


Under certain circumstances, when the STOCK FIX button is pressed, you may get a System Exception report, or nothing appears to happen. In both cases, no files are updated and no other data is corrupted.


A corrected version of the program is currently being tested and should be available soon. In the meantime, please let me know if you experience a similar problem.

Hi All,
Version 3.6 of MSTS_ActMan should be available from the library in a day or two.

As well as fixing a couple of bugs, the program will now report if the lead loco of the Player consist does not have a cabview (only applicable when checking a single activity, or all activities).

Due to the previously mentioned STOCK FIX bug, it's recommended that v3.5 is replaced by v3.6.

many thanks for your ongoing work in supporting MSTS/OR,
but of course I have a problem.

The readme and the content in the "Zip View" say V3.6 but when I
download the file I get a file called "MSTS_ActMan_v3.5_Installer.exe"

I have tried twice for the same result so what am I doing wrong.

Hi Daniel,
Sorry, mate, but I've just downloaded the latest version and I have "MSTS_ActMan_v3.6_Installer.exe". These are the files unpacked from msts_actman.zip :
ActMan v3.6.jpg
I think it may be a problem at your end!

I have noticed that when I download a file with the same name as a previously downloaded file I get the question "do I want to save msts_actman(1).zip?" rather than "do I want to overwrite msts_actman.zip?"
Maybe you are opening the older rather than the new download.

G'day Ged, thanks for the update (3.6) and including the missing cab view problem. Just a hint, when I downloaded 3.5 you get a zip file called "msts_actman" once downloaded I add the version number to it "msts_actman 3.5" then you know the version and more importantly you don't get the "do I want to overwrite" message and once the newer version is downloaded you add it's version number 3.6 no problems.

Suggestion: Add a Copy Report to the report window down next to Print Report and Save Report. Then a report could be coped and pasted to a forum thread when a problem is encountered.
