    May be of interest:

    CYX retired reporting marks (04/92). also,
    in 1950 CYX (
    American Cyanamid Co.) rostered 7-TankCars.
    CYX 102 American Cyanamid Co. 3-dome tanks for dry powder.
    6 discharge hoppers.

    I don't recall if CYX was within these photos/pages, but, this link may be of interest none-the-less, for anyone wishing to model yesteryear.

    After all these years, surely must be many private owner cars haven been created.
    Anything ending with an "X" in its reporting marks be private owner.
