Job well done Borislav, do you plan on the Essential Workers unit as well? And being you are on these ACe and M-2 kick, plans for any KCS units, particularly the veterans unit?

Thank you very much, guys, for all the kind words!

This is the first paint scheme I am working on in 4K resolution. This enables me to add much more details to the locomotive. Having that in mind, I might redo all of the previously released paint schemes in 4K, as well. However, I still can't be sure about that one, as this requires one important step - finding enough good, detailed photos of the locomotives in question. I am not talking about those beautiful photos you can see at railpictures.net, but the close-up ones where you can see all the decals, panels and stuff. Those are very difficult to find, and I have to spend a lot of time searching for photos and videos of that kind on the internet.

Therefore, any future project that I have on my mind depends purely on this factor. The Essential Workers unit, I believe, will be possible to do, as I already have good photos of this locomotive.

The main textures have been finished! However, I have decided to take a shot at weathering effects. This is something that I have never done before. If it does turn out right, I am going to include two sets of textures for this locomotive: clean and dirty.

This is what I have been able to produce so far (upper body), but this is still a work in progress:
