What in the world is wrong with this company?
I am not looking to buy a Train simulator for myself, they look like a lot of fun but I am trying to buy this for someone as a gift. When I tried on their site I was told create an account, Fine created an account. But there is absolutely no way of buying this for anyone who does not already have a Steam account.
On top of that, there is absolutely no possible way of contacting them about this.
Of course asking on here I was required yet again to create an account. Gee thanks, now I'll have the joy of receiving even more email even though I chose not to.

All I can say is, if it's that bad that I can't even buy it for someone, what happens if they need help with it.

STAY AWAY from this Sim and Steam altogether.

Let me get some info from my friend who purchased a game for me on Steam. BTW I think Steam is great as a gaming platform (better than Origin) and they sometimes offer free games that are really worthwhile.

Select from Menu ... purchase as gift and follow instructions. But two things are necessary before this will work.
One - BOTH parties need to have an account with Steam
Two - BOTH parties must be on each others' friend list

You cannot buy for a stranger. Hope this helps. All the best.
