    You can go avoid repeating the same identical files in each wagon by aliasing them.

    Here in the UK I created a folder called Common.Loads and added a sub folder for each load type.

    The load shape and texture were placed in the type folder.
    eg Common.Loads/RCH_1923/RCH1923_7&8p_Coal1.s RCH_Loads.ace

    Each wagon has the line ......
    FreightAnim ( ..\\Common.Loads\\RCH_1923\\RCH1923_7&8p_Coal1.s 0.0 3.0 0 )
    Added.

    This means that the load can be added to any wagon it fits without bulking out your trainset folded.
