Right now Firefox reports a security alert and denies access to the page.
This looks like a full-blown attack.
Hopefully not much information is lost.

Am currently logged in on my laptop also, no problems...like I said...above my pay grade. I don't know how owners of forums do all the work necessary to keep us happy in this hobby. My thanks and hats off to them. Nels and Dave certainly can have their hands full if some [email protected][email protected] tries to muck around...or something innocent happens...legit hardware or software issue and blooey!

Looked around the forum, some content like "Active Content in last 24 hours" is missing, could be something innocuous, let us hope so.
    Cheers, Gerry

Opera shows the site is not a secure connection and goes on to say the site can not confirm it is www.elvastower.com. Been like that for three hours now.

Yesterday first I couldn't post new messages (and there weren't new ones), then I was able to connect only passing from the ET main page (again, no new messages), because directly I got a security stop. Today error 404.

I hope the problem is solved.
Both https://www.elvastower.com/forums/ and http://www.elvastower.com/forums/index.php in Frirefox lead to the same site, a warning of security issues. However, in Internet Explorer, http://www.elvastower.com/forums/index.php opens the forum, while https://www.elvastower.com/forums/ reports a security problem on the page.

It looks like the same problem that UKtrainsim and other sites have had. It pushed the UK site into a major update of servers and software to meet the required https standards.

Looks like things are back to normal at about 3:20 PM.
