Is it possible to write own paths?

I wanted to make a YouTube video at a specific location on a route. Thing is, the nearest path starting point is pretty far away, and I'm wondering, if there is a way to make a path starting point near the location.

The MSTS activity editor can be used to make a path if you have MSTS installed. The alternative is the ORTS Trackviewer.

In both editors you load the route, find your start location and make the path from that point, when completed, save and the path is ready to use.
