    Default Western Railways V2 activities

G'day all, I have Western Railways V2 with patch I have been installing activities but find some crash on startup with the message in the OR log file saying:-

Warning: PlatformStartID 12247 is not present in TDB file

Warning: PlatformStartID 12267 is not present in TDB file

Warning: PlatformStartID 11619 is not present in TDB file

Warning: PlatformStartID 11603 is not present in TDB file

Warning: PlatformStartID 11596 is not present in TDB file

Warning: PlatformStartID 11571 is not present in TDB file

Warning: PlatformStartID 11548 is not present in TDB file

Warning: PlatformStartID 9769 is not present in TDB file

All indications in the read me files and on the download screen indicate only Western Railways V2. Are these files for maybe V6 or possibly V2 unpatched?
I get a bit annoyed as it would be so easy to put V2 - V6 which would indicate V2 folder V6 version or what ever is applicable.
OK had my rant and guess there is no easy way to fix this.
    Regards

G'day all, just noticed in the activity folder there were ASV files with corresponding names to the act file, I cannot open them but maybe they contain more information. Anyone know about these?

G'day Derek, I now the activity's sometimes come packaged in APK files but these ASV files were not there when installing the session which left me thinking that it could some sort of reporting file?
Anyway they are of little use if they cannot be read.

    Hi Barrie,
As Derek has said, they can (should?) be deleted!

They are binary versions of the same-named .act file and, in the early days of computers, probably ran faster than the usual text versions. They are created by MSTS Activity Manager when clicking "Compute & Save".

    Cheers,
    Ged

G'day Ged, thanks for that information, I have deleted them. these activity's are a pain with so little information on which version they are meant for, but guess I will have to soldier on.
    Regards
    Barrie
