False Speed When I Start Moving

I've been playing MSTS for years now, and I spotted this glitch since mid 2019. When I set my throttle above idle when starting a train, the speedometer's speed is wrong. However, when I put the throttle back to idle, it says the right speed I was currently going at. This doesn't happen to some of my trains, but it commonly happens to the default BNSF Dash 9 for me. Does anyone know how I can fix this glitch?

Wheel slip perhaps?

Switch to Open Rails. The user experience is much better than MSTS and I have never seen this speedometer issue when running with OR.
