Really Vern still wooden, i wouldn't know sorry buddy. My interest in the UK rail network ended at the start of Privatisation.

I only put up with this being modern era, as it is so well done. Plus the template session sets up the pathing, so no stopping to manually operate the junctions.

Had to look twice to realize it was Trainz. A few elements aside, you can't tell, it's so well done.

(ATW never went to Penzance but hey ho)

Mike, how is this identified on the DLS?
Is it the original Bob Cooper creation or what?

I am sure they did, we had the Milford Haven - Penzance service for a year or two.

Plus the Milford Haven - Portsmouth. Both of those services disappeared and now the only out of Wales destination from here, is Manchester.

Who the hell wants to go to Manchester.

    Thank you, mate.
    It's really quite beautiful.
Is the topography and general "scenery" authentic?
    How long is the route?

I haven't fired up Trainz for months but I wouldn't mind doing so just to run this route.

Most welcome Bruce, it is lovely. There are not many occasions when a route in Trainz, takes my interest like this one.

As far as i know the route is authentic, buddy. I believe it uses DEM and real world mapping info.

    This is the route description.................................

The Modern day railway lines of Cornwall, UK. This route all routes connected to the mainline.

The 79 mile Cornish mainline stretches from Plymouth (Devon) in the East across the River Tamar through the length of Cornwall to Penzance in the West.
    Including the branches:
Plymouth to Gunnislake (Tamar Valley Line)
Liskeard to Looe (Looe Valley Line)
    Coombe Junction to Moorswater (Freight)
    Bodmin & Wenford Heritage Line
    Lostwithiel to Fowey Docks (Freight)
Par to Newquay (Atlantic Coast Line)
St Blazey Yard to Par Harbour (Freight)
    Burngullow Junction to Parkandillack (Freight)
Truro to Falmouth Docks (Maritime Line)
St Erth to St Ives (St Ives Bay Line)

Some TRS19 routes are required for some of the dependancies, these are:
Cornish Mainline and Branches - TRS19, ECML Edinburgh - Dundee, & ECML Kings Cross - Edinburgh.

The route uses interlocking towers to route trains at stations, the easiest way to route trains is using mission codes as well, which I have set up in the template session.

Oops. Route building error, or game rendering error?
