Cool Stuff On The Proviso Hump Track

On Thanksgiving, we stopped quickly at UP Proviso/Global II on the way to the in-law's house.

Not a great picture, but I was delighted to see a SP leader on this train, crawling over the hump track.
I had no idea any were left in SP paint.
And, NS's "DC to AC Traction Program" third unit was a first sighting for me. Too damn bad the train was all the way on the other side of the yard, making for a less than desirable shot.

Cool catch Neil I am agreed I didn't think any SP stuff was floating around anymore especially with Uncle Pete calling the twins out of storage to paint them it seems as they were on the warpath. Proviso was a cornucopia of colors back in my days of youth...lol
