    There are many erros in the log file of the type :
    "Warning: Signal referenced in .w file nnnnn nnnnn as TrItem xxxxx not present in .tdb file".

    This indicates a serious mismatch between the .tdb file and the world files. I would suggest you sort that out first, this mismatch could well also be the reason for the crash. The crash occurs either if the program tries to allocate a head to a non-existing signal, or when it tries to allocate a non-existing head. Both situations can occur if .tdb and worldfiles do not match.

    You can try and let TSRE fix it.
    In the settings.txt file add or change these lines.

    loadAllWFiles = true
    autoFix = true

    I've used it a couple times and it worked fine.
    I backed up the TDB and World file first but didn't need them.

    Or just add

    loadAllWFiles = true

    and then use the errors and messages tool to see what's up.

    It's in the same folder that TSRE is in.
    It's the settings.txt that tells TSRE how to do things.
