For those interested, the route update has been posted to the Digital Rails storefront, and available for download.

    http://www.digitalrails.com/2021/02/...ago-route.html

Those who have already donated and downloaded can get the updates for free. Everyone else... it's a $10 donation which goes towards railroad preservation efforts like the CNW Historical Society or the Illinois Railway Museum.

Hey there! I donated and was given access to the content page. There are several files to download, and the first is instructions.json. But that opens as a blank text document. Given the nature of the other files, I'm assuming instructions are actually needed. What am I missing? Or is it just as simple as downloading the CNW-Havard.zip file and installing the contents?

Instructions was supposed to be a text file... I just replaced it with the TXT file (no idea why Gumroad converted it to JSON...)

What you download depends entirely on whether or not you have previously installed the route.

If you've never downloaded, you'll need Terrtex 2021 as well as NewTracks.

If you've downloaded previously, then only Files CNW-Harvard and Terrtex-2022 are required.

The MiniPatch is optional and has a few tweaks that missed the major release.

There's no use of YTracks or XTracks in the route. That's a generic error message.

However... The route includes new track sections that are not yet published in the standard TSection (but will be included in the next TSection).

As a workaround, you need to update your TSection.dat to version 57g which is available in the NewTracks zip file

    1) Install contents of Shapes folder to Global\Shapes

    2) Rename your Global\TSection.dat file to TSection.dat.old

    3) Copy TSection.dat from the Zip archive into Global\TSection.dat

Hopefully that gets you past the error message.
