New gaming computer/pc ans msts please?

Paul,

It appears to be looking at the registry entry for the install path.
It wants to install to my MSTS installation but will allow you to chose another path.
If it can't locate an MSTS install it might not behave.
What errors are you having?

C:\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator but not sure whether it has to go Into Open Rails as well.

Seem to remember Ytracks01 & Ytracks02 linked together somehow during Installation?

Path is fine as it is not C:\Program Files (86)\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator . Ytracks01 probably uses an old installer so you may need to run the EXE in a compatibility mode such as XP. If it points to C:\Program Files (86)\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator, mod the path to C:\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator.

I downloaded it and ran it.
Runs fine on 10 Pro but it might pay to install it it's own folder then move the shapes to the Global's shapes folder and the textures to the route's Textures folder.
Some .exes do funky stuff and sometimes it's a good idea to keep them away from your Train Simulator.
Once bitten twice shy.
